04-February-2010 By: valerita

Nigeria-based Arik Air has announced the expansion of its regional services with the launch of flights between Abuja and Accra, Banjul and Dakar.

The new services operate twice weekly with four weekly non-stop services between Abuja and Accra. They are operated by a B737-700 aircraft with 12 business-class seats and 112 in economy class.

The airline has also launched further regional services between Lagos and Cotonou and Dakar, including new non-stop services between Lagos and Dakar.

These new services will allow passengers arriving from Dakar and Cotonou to benefit from a choice of onward convenient connections within Nigeria.

A Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft, with 10 business-class seats and 64 economy seats, operates the routes.
